There was a programme on TV last night about british ship building. They highlighted how well they were made back in the olden days, showing hundreds of men putting the ships together with thousands of rivets. I got me wondering if they had a local pub called the Jolly Riviter.

Could we lock them in a hot car (say inside temp at 120 Fahrenheit for a couple of hours? Then put them in jail for a very long time. Maybe life?___________Y’all have a bountiful day my friends.

I think my fave songs of the ’40’s are all spike Jones stuff. My actual song likes would start in the ’50’s with the exception of Edgard Varese, who has stuff going back to about 1920’s-Do you have that coat and if so, can we see you in it ? -I have some good books from the free box at the library.-I’m sure “Pee”-ter has done that some place or other where you would see the liquid but not quite the source. -Hard to discard still good stuff.-May you have a wonderful “Weddin’sday” !__________________________________________________
My music appreciation is from 1940-1990.-No, I didn’t take the coat for myself. I did look awesome in it though. If I actually had the coat, I would definitely post a photo!-What kind of books do you read? Classic? Fantasy? Horror? -This is a hilarious Family Guy clip! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do: Link (Love how Peter comes back for his beer)-I never see the point of throwing perfectly good stuff away. If it still works well… What does it matter?-I think I’d better tell you this now. Yesterday, I received a phone call and was told that they are not offering me a placement because of ‘lack of experience’ I didn’t understand what the hell they were talking about because the whole point of Work Placements is for people to GAIN experience for their chosen careers, I emailed the person who has been helping me with everything and he said that he was also very surprised that I didn’t get it. He said he would speak to the manager and try to arrange a more suitable Work Placement as soon as he can. He apologised for everything. I thanked him for his email and told him that I understand. Sorry that all your Good Luck was wasted on me.-I hope your Weddingsday is awesome too!
In my opinion The North extends down to the tips of Northampton & the Home Counties & (excluding East Anglia) and all the way up to the Borders, anything else is either Scotland, Wales or a bunch of lily-livered wusses ;-)
