This year’s Common Core standardized testing was developed by the states, not the federal government. Furthermore, the individual states choose which of the Common Core tests they will implement within their state. It was developed so the states could save money on developing their own tests, which is the biggest expense in standardized testing.
It is not just teaching to the test that upsets people, it is the content of the curriculum. Very liberal & ideological with teaching things that go against many families’ core beliefs & religions.
, the misnamed “Common Core State Standards” are not state standards. They’re national standards, created by Gates-funded consultants for the National Governors Association (NGA). //Written mostly by academics and assessment experts—many with ties to testing companies Parents were entirely missing. K–12 educators were mostly brought in after the fact to tweak and endorse the standards—and lend legitimacy to the results.

Everything you need to know about chemistry, geology, biology, physics, and astronomy is contained in the book of Genesis.

Nasty, very nasty. Did your parents teach you to behave that way? Are you proud of it? Nasty.

EVERYONE should read this month’s National Geographic, about the attacks on science. Then, come back to GC after you may have learned a thing or two.
