Oh, wow, I didn’t know that people were trying to force you to marry another man. Because that would be wrong, to force you to marry someone you didn’t want to marry. On the other hand, if it’s actually someone else getting married, what business is it of yours?

Many loving couples have been married in the eyes of church and state. Some are same sex. You and I can dictate what is immoral only to ourselves. We can call something immoral that others don’t have a problem with which might cause us to use an empathic approach to our mindset.

Is there any hope at all that the southern states will secede? And take all their posturing and false moralizing with them?

I’m willing to stand up for morality. My moral code says this is none of your business. My moral code also says that people should be free to do what they like so long as it doesn’t hurt other people. By my moral code, you are immoral.

The southern states wouldn’t be able to afford secession. They need the economic power of blue states where rational government is in place to pay their bills for them.
