Same speach for 19 years, same lies, he’s like Cheney, Rumsfeld and their crew, all rolled into one package. That’s why I don’t like Netanyahu, he has even fewer ethical restraints.

OK, I went back and read the entire speech. Bibi suggests that Iran is the biggest supporter of terrorism in the world. Uh, no. Hezbollah is fighting a political war on Israel, and while it’s a nasty piece of business, they are far more of a direct threat to Israel than to the US. As to the contention that the regime can be overthrown by more sanctions and greater pressure, where has that EVER worked? Sanctions have brought us to this place, but, as with many self organizing patterns, too little of something is just as ineffective as too much of something. There is a fundamental asymmetry at work here. But you have to appreciate the nonlinearity of the circumstances. Too much pressure drives the Persians to speed up their nuclear development, if only because they feel even more threatened. This is so patently part of a natural human response that I’m surprised more people don’t see it. But it does take more than linear logic. You have to appreciate the actual patterns of behavior of humans in groups.

Bibi’s been right all along. Iran got nukes in 1997, and they blew us all up in 1999.

http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Evidence_for_the_Exodus “It is unlikely that the 603,550 adult males plus women and children mentioned in the Exodus story would have gone unremarked by contemporary Egyptian records. That’s easily 2 million people (assuming one man, one woman, 1.5 children, which is very conservative11). But no Egyptian account mentions them. Or the plagues, which would be similarly unlikely not to have been recorded. There is no evidence of any of this. Given the standard of Egyptian record keeping of the time, this is an absence that would require explanation.Bible literalists claim that it did happen, but that the Egyptians destroyed all the records, for reasons generally unspecified, though embarrassment has been offered. This is contrary to the normal archaeological practice of testing a theory against the evidence, rather than the evidence against the theory.”

Maybe I AM crazy like the doctor said, but didn’t the entire speech (nudge, nudge) boil down to (wink, wink) “I’m here to get you guys to bomb Iran back to the dark ages (hint, hint), because diplomacy doesn’t work with these terrorists (secret hand signal)”?

I hope it stays that way rather than going to war.Too many Americans just love to go to foreign lands and kill and destroy.Where is diplomacy?

Logicalone: Bibi’s only solution is the same one McCain sang as a ditty, “Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran”.
