Funny. I seem to remember more than a few Democrats cheering and applauding during at least a few parts of his speech. I guess if you draw your editorial cartoon before the actual event, you take the chance of getting a few details wrong.
We can only be thankful he’s not a natural-born citizen of the U.S. orthe Republicans would be trying to draft him after he loses his reelection in Israel!
Our reneging on FRD’s promise, and supporting the UN resolution to establish the state of Israel, and our continued financial & military support has cost this country very dearly in lives & treasure. And may cost even more. I do not begrudge the Jewish people for wanting a homeland of their own; God knows, they certainly deserve something after all they have been subjected to. But to forcibly settle in a place to which they had no modern, legal claim, and against the desires of neighboring nations & peoples; Just what did we think would happen? Yet, the blame is not all theirs. The Arab/Islamic people of the mid-east seem so full of themselves, their allah, and their “prophet”, that they think no one else deserves to live on this planet, and that their god empowers them to hate and destroy. I think that for Islamics to accept Jewish (or even Christian) people as valid and their equal is an absolute impossibility for them.
Bibi’s “Sabra”, eduated at MIT and Harvard, which is why he thinks, and acts, like he was elected President of the U.S., and of course proclaims himself, falsely, as the leader of ALL Jews, not just Israel. Hope they get smart and finally vote him out…
^Bibi only represents Bibi, always has. He maintains his position by selling the same lie, like Rumsfeld and Cheney, but he’s been getting away with it for 19 years.
BTW; it’s why I don’t like Bibi, has nothing to do with Israel or Judaism.
