“He has time to meet with a woman who sits in a bathtub full of milk and cereal, but not with the leader of the only tolerant society in the middle east.”Tolerant of anyone who agrees that they should be allowed to steal of the Palestinian land out from under them. Not so tolerant of anyone who disagrees.

Why would Obama meet with a major recipient of foreign aid who arranges congressional meetings behind his back to lobby against his policies for long-run security of Israeli and the Middle East? Bibi and the Boehner committed a major gaffe.

The problem is that those who are both Jewish and inclined to vote for Democrats are not as stupid as Bibi and the Republicans are. Bush refused to talk with North Korea. They got the bomb under his watch. Bush used war instead of diplomacy in Iraq. See how THAT turned out. Bibi’s solution to Iran’s nuclear program is to have us bomb Iran. There is no precedent whatsoever for that kind of behavior to end well. Obama got chemical weapons out of Syria, he got nuclear weapons out of Libya, and he got a lot of nuclear material out of old Russian client states. He’s got a long, proven track record of being better at this than anyone on the right, so get out of his way.

good one, Lisa….that is obviously 2 Obama White House aides following the bosses “leadership” on the visit of the PM of Israel, invited by the Legislative branch of our government, House Speaker Boehner.-IMO Netanyahu’s speech was great, and honest and sincere, and gracious to the US leader that has treated the Israeli leader like dirt from day one in the Oval Office.-Winston Churchill, were you listening? IMO this speech is very near as great as the speech you gave in 1941, to a Congress and President (FDR) that gave him total support, unlike this farce of an executive branch that is sinking lower and lower in history status.-The PM Netanyahu today received a packed House standing Ovations during the entire speech from about 11:10 a.m. EST to 11:52 a.m. EST. Netanyahu mentioned the picture of Moses on the House wall he faced at the dais, and quoted in Hebrew Moses’ final words to Israel, “Be strong and resolute….” which is needed today, in Israel and in America. He honored the guest in the packed gallery, Elie Wiesel, who also received 2 standing O’s. A survivor of Nazi persecution, this Jewish-born in Romania, American professor and author and recipient of the 1986 Nobel Peace Prize, knows the stakes in what Netanyahu called Iran’s deadly game of “thrones” game with the world it hates. The stakes are the survival of Israel and America and the Judeo-Christian principles of faith and government that seeks to give and guarantee human rights to all. (at least to all who are not trying to behead or crucify or burn us alive.)-I and many Americans are praying that influential leaders listened and got the urgent message and warning, and I am praying for God’s miracles to stop this giveaway “deal” to Iranby a president who cannot even say the words “Islamist” and “terrorists” in the same sentence! Iran is led by an Islamist Terrorist regime now these 36 years, teaching and funding terror worldwide. Iran has been responsible for American deaths In the Mideast and elsewhere and now sits in 4 Arab national capitols as #1 influence. Its “fight” with ISIS as Netanyahu said, is a battle for the credit and control of the war to establish a caliphate and end all non-Islamic governments. According to the Bible prophecies, those Islamics will not be stopped until Messiah Jesus returns to Israel in person. Until then for the sakes of our children, we need to fight all terrorists, not settle for rhetoric only.-

“Please show me a link to the former “palestinian” land you speak of. What were the borders? Who was the king or president? What form of govt. did they have? Who defeated their army? No such thing. A portion of the ottoman empire is all it was.”I’ve posted all that information last year, but I’m happy to repost the facts for you. When the Ottoman Empire broke up, the League of Nations assigned chunks of it to various European powers to administrate with goal that said territories would work towards self governance. The UK was assigned to administer Mandatory Palestine and Transjordan. Both the Jews and Arabs began separate terrorist campaigns to drive the UK government out of Palestine. The UK asked the United Nations (successor to the defunct League of Nations) to relieve the Brits of their administration duties. The UN devised UN General Assembly Resolution 181, a plan to divide Palestine between the Palestinian Jews and Palestinian Arabs. This plan gave each of the two factions roughly half of Palestine, despite the Jews controlling only a small portion of Palestine. Jerusalem was to be an international city controlled by neither faction. The moderate Jews gladly accepted the proposal and set about to create a new government. Israel declared its sovereignty when Resolution took affect. The Zionist Jews and Palestinian Arabs both denounced the partition plan. The Arabs resented having to give up a sizable portion of territory that was under their control. They also felt that much of the land they retained was uninhabitable. The Zionists felt they were entitled to all of Palestine. My understanding that some of the extreme Zionists also felt entitled to Transjordan, but that’s beside the point. When Israel declared its sovereignty, the Zionists immediately set about seizing preexisting Arab settlements that were inside of what became Israel. The Arabs began to retaliate, and the Arab/Israeli cycle of violence began. The Israeli Zionists have been stealing more and more Palestinian land ever since.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandatory_Palestinehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine

“Apparently you haven’t read the Pentateuch or Joshua lately.”Would you be referring to the part where the Jews traveled to Palestine, slaughtered the inhabitants, took the land and claimed that their magic sky god told them to do it? That doesn’t justify stealing the land from the inhabitants 2000 years later.BTW, my holy book says that God gave me your house and land to live on. You have a week to get off my property or I’ll bomb you into the stone age. I’m totally justified because God told me so.

Your “lost year of Muslim brotherhood” was an elected government. It’s funny how we want people to have democracy, have a vote, but if they vote for someone you don’t like, we should just not support them until they’re overthrown by a military dictatorship.

“Except you leave out the invasions of Israel that started immediately after Israel was formed.”Dude, Israel’s invasion of preexisting Arab settlements started immediately. Arab invasions against Israel were in retaliation to what the Israelis were doing. The Jews existed in Palestine during the Ottoman Empire. They weren’t being attacked until they declared their own nation and started attacking Arab settlements.
