It they really think there is a need for a time change is should be Fall forward/spring back,it would keep the daylight more even.No reason for it anyway

None of my clocks still need changing… they’re all grown up now.

On another note…. I love DST!!YES… I KNOW it doesn’t make extra daylight…But there IS more daylight, anyway, cos the days are longer…DST merely re-positions the labels we assign to the hours…Those of us so inclined can thus make better use of that abundance of natural light by using it to stay out later, or to light the dinner table, instead of electricity.

That was the original idea… it was to save candles, not “save” daylight…Those of us NOT so inclined… ie, you so-called “morning” people…. would rather have the light situated during the hours we label as earlier…But hey…

@Tony Rubino.Just the ones in the den, kitchen, dining room, car and basement. Other than that, nope..Personal Rant :.There is no saving or more of daylight!.Oh look. I cut off a foot of my blanket at the bottom and sewed it to the top. It’s LONGER!

I was sure hoping we’d go the way of Arizona & stop this silly time shifting here in Florida but sadly House Bill 74 died in Community Affairs. On another topic, I sure like the Rockwell look in today’s comic.

Yes I have 6 plus my truck that have to be reset. The anniversary clock on the mantle is right during the summer and wrong in the winter. Last time I changed it, I almost dropped the glass dome and decided it wasn’t worth risking my clumsiness.I like the spring change, it’s the winter change that gives me cold chills. Maybe because it feels like it brings winter closer. I know winter will come anyway, but the time change just drills it home in my mind.

I got the oven, microwave, bedroom, and both of our watches last night. I just did the 2 battery clocks in my computer room because of this reminder. I still need to do the one in the Caravan. Computers, pads, phones take care of themselves. The wireless phones are still wrong because we have not received a phone call to reset them yet.
