I used to listen to “The Great Gildersleeve”, “Fibber Mcgee & Molly”, “Roy Rogers”, Gangbusters", and several others. There was a kids program on Saturday morning that was very popular, but I can’t remember the name.

Sgt. Preston of the Yukon . . . My Little Margie (before the television show of the same name) . . . and (I THINK this is correct) The Lux Radio Hour.

We should have people playing chess on TV — it would be a lot better than most of what’s on now.

In Canada, we had “The Happy Gang” at noon every week day, when we came home from school for lunch. I always waited around for “Huey and the joke pot” before rushing back to school, and just making it before the late bell.

“Ready or not, this is the spot. Here comes Huey with the joke pot. Old or new, come on HughSee what’s cookin in the joke pot.”
