When my oldest daughter was about 12, we gave her a small garden in the back yard to raise a few veggies. One Sunday afternoon she found me sitting in the yard with my pellet gun over my thighs, and she asked me what I was doing with the gun..After a brief explanation, she walked out the the garden and stood there for a couple of minutes in deep thought. She turned, walked back to me and out of the mouths of babes she said, “Kill ’em!”

Bunnies used to raid my garden. Now there are cats running loose in the neighborhood and no more bunnies. But the cats poop in my garden.
