Our hospital had a book store that went out of business. It became “Doctors without Borders.” Help….medic!!

It is a lot more convenient and cheaper to purchase a book online for a tablet. That being said, I still love bookstores. I like being able to go into one and handle the book before I buy it, pick a random page and start reading to see if it catches my attention. There will always be a place for bookstores, but they will always have to struggle, like any other brick-and-mortar store, against the easy lure of online purchasing.

Same thing happened to the Video Rental Stores……………

I hope the bookstores can remain…….I, too, love to hold a book, and turn the pages, and, yes, eat while I read.

Maybe free cookies when they buy a book? I have a bad habit of reading when I eat, have done it since I was little. Doing it right now. I guess it’s not too bad as long as I don’t eat every time I read.

I switched to kindle a few years ago, but I started buying hard copies again. Once I read a kindle book, I couldn’t pass it on. That is a waste!
