a couple is a number from 2 to four. five is clearly more than a couple. 1 obviously is singular. lio has written signs, notes, etc. from time to time. the words never come out of his mouth.

Is a tad more or less than a little bit and is “just a hair” smaller than either? The question could be, “will that dog hunt”?

Dad (“D” for short) should know by now to read Lio (“L”) literally. If he does, he will understand. Then again, he is Dad, so maybe not….
