I thought the female lead in NATIONAL VELVET had black hair.

What I like about the story is the character is named ‘Dad Sanders’. I guess the other characters names are ‘Bohunk Johnson’ and ‘Dale Floozy’.

In his homily at our wedding Mass, the priest said at one point, “This is about more than [wife] getting her hands on [my] bank account.” Without taking my eyes off the pulpit, I said to my wife, “Go ahead; there’s nothing in it.” After having to pay for the wedding myself (cheap-@$$ father-in-law), there really wasn’t anything in it.

Bill Ward was the genius behind making the female form with pen and ink better than almost anyone else. Thanks for sharing these I have never seen before. I prefer his brunettes and blondes.

She didn’t kill that husband of course. She killed a friend’s rich husband and her friend reciprocated. As a matter of fact her friend’s getting married again.

John, the guy reminds me of the alien from the Twilight Zone episode “To Serve Man”.
