When I was a kid, and even when my kids were kids, vaccines were lots less complicated. I have heard that some carry way bigger loads than what they used to have. That’s about all I know.

Is it possible to be funny outside one’s general frame of reference? Could Cucaracha become a Far Side or a Non Sequitur of a Pickles? And would we want him to? Maybe a random perspective generator . . .

" Lalo had not yet turned disease into hilarity."And he still hasn’t… More like a non-political public service announcement.

No, it’s not. In fact, most Latin American countries have better MMR vaccination programs and numbers than the U.S. But you’ve never been one to let the truth get in the way of your xenophobia, now have you?

Agreed. And ironically enough, what’s led to this uptick in disease is a complacency bred by the near-eradication of the disease. Now that’s it’s back, hopefully folks will be less complacent. There are already states moving toward tightening the restrictions on who can be exempted from vaccinations.

Good one, now just have him swerve to the left and give them a later public vaccine.
