When I was a kid, and even when my kids were kids, vaccines were lots less complicated. I have heard that some carry way bigger loads than what they used to have.That’s about all I know.

Is it possible to be funny outside one’s general frame of reference? Could Cucaracha become a Far Side or a Non Sequitur of a Pickles? And would we want him to? Maybe a random perspective generator . . .

Agreed. And ironically enough, what’s led to this uptick in disease is a complacency bred by the near-eradication of the disease. Now that’s it’s back, hopefully folks will be less complacent. There are already states moving toward tightening the restrictions on who can be exempted from vaccinations.
