Well if I was the soda cart person I would have to say

It’s like the Muslim sin of drinking alcoholic beverage, if you are dying of thirst, go ahead and drink it rather than die. It is still a sin, but God is merciful and knows and will forgive.

Actually as a S&R 1st Responder – skip the soda. It actually dehydrates you more. Anything else, cool.

Curious and curiouser: So does alcohol, but the instruction, like the culture, assumed wine – alcohol was used for chemistry.

It’s “. . . I drink only . . . ,” NOT “. . . I only drink . . . .”
