Unfortunately, when your vulnerabilities are out in the open, they become weaponized.Against you.

Hidden vulnerabilities may plague—-and that is nothing to overlook—, but known vulnerabilities can be exploited by hackers and other malevolent forces. It requires a balancing act, and is not easy. But you can do it.

Besides, my shortcomings will eventually kill me anyway, and the schedule will not be greatly altered by the taking on, head-on, of a minute portion of them causing insecurities. If you are water-skiing, stopping to tread water isn’t really necessary.

I prattle on about my vulnerabilities constantly … and yet I remain plagued by them.

The real work comes when you learn to ignore the weapons your exposed vulnerabilities have been turned into.

The commonly accepted form of courage and bravery, the false bravado & machismo where you never show vulnerability or dive beneath the surface, is an empty path. To step off the merry go round and choose to live the vulnerable life takes more strength and courage than some care to fathom. What is most interesting is that when you take the leap of faith and turn to authenticity, the fortitude and force of spirit that is gained far out weighs any strength previously being paraded.

We are always plagued by our vulnerabilities. It is what we choose to do with them that decides who we are. To hide them will only bing about more lonlieness and more vulnerability. We can only conquer what we bring into the light of day. For in the light of day, we can squish them like the little bugs that they are and those who try to use them against us.
