They are letting people in on the honor system. The brick wall is held up by faith.

Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth ? Ooh heaven is a place on earth

In case you haven’t noticed, that’s a question mark after the word “HEAVEN”.

Everyone just thinks it’s Peter at the gates, because Jesus told Peter he would give him the keys to heaven.

It’s also amazing how seriously some people take jokes about their afterlife.

Here’s what I’d like to see as an afterlife:

For each individual, the afterlife is exactly what they’re expecting it to be.

For each individual, they get, not what they hope for, but what they’re worried that they deserve.

    It’d serve ‘em right!

“Heaven, Heaven is a place, where nothing, nothing ever happens.”

Joe is doing us all a favor and I sincerely appreciate it.

People pick up idiotic ideas about heaven and eternity because they only read comics and blather written by philosophers - but never read God’s word.

Comics are funny and I read them for enjoyment. I read God’s word because it is truth and tells me more about Him - the one I get to spend eternity with. Much more important.

Nothing like being on the wrong side of the study group. This got featured with the recent Hell performance review comic at The Family Plot Blog: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don’t Plan to Die (http://TheFamilyPlot.wordpress.com)

Isn’t it something, how the same little bunch of God bashing atheists always rush to tell everyone what Heaven isn’t and how that one guy had better not dare to quote the Bible, while they make the same pathetic cracks about it and trash people and their religions who do believe in it and outnumber them?

The Bible said that this would happen.

Mrs. Luke - I am not an atheist. I’ve got no quarrel with any deity, just institutionalized religion and its mindless minions. You. however, prove over and over again that you’re just an ornery bleeep.

I’m with Jesus on this one and I am not ashamed to mention, uphold, revere and worship Him.

The atheists obviously are ashamed of their deity, Satan. They are obviously quite motivated by the evil one but fail to acknowledge him.

Atheists are not ashamed of their “deity” because to atheists there is no such thing as a deity let alone “satan”. Just because someone doesn’t believe in one thing does not mean they automatically believe in another/opposite. Maybe “Satan” told you it does but it’s just not true and if people spent more time trying to understand, to actually comprehend, they wouldn’t make such dismissive yet utterly mistaken statements.

My commentary on this comic, is that is the result of the current US healthcare. You “take yer chances” and the chances are not all that good, even if you do get the frankly poisonous/toxic non-placebo that is being given to counter the poison/toxins that caused the illnesses to begin with.

Good healthcare begins with taking care of yourself and the environment you and your food is grown in before you get to the placebo (or not) stage (since counter-medical is not affordable… or even effective).

So maybe pharmaceutical companies are the devil and corporations/capitalism are the gateway to hell.
