Nice sentiment but fatigues have not been issued in probably more than 20 years—my branch of the military went to BDUs (Battle Dress Uniforms)—or “camis”—in the late 1980s. Not really sure what they are called these days.
He’s lucky he can still fit in his “old” fatigues. A lot of us would get fatigued just trying to get into them! It is strange how clothes shrink while hanging in the closet…

@ujean- been there squinted for that many times. And even though they were technically called BDUs, we still called em fatigues.

Depending upon your service branch, BDUs have been superseded by ABUs, ACUs, MCCUUs, or NWUs.
