If they had gone topside through the jungle they would have missed out on all of this neat stuff, & not known where the other end of the tunnel was.

Too bad no audio, you can kind of imagine the stereotypical Hollywood evil laughter.

D’Arnot shrugs at creepy statues, but creepy laughter is another matter.

While they are at it, they can take those polished eyes; they are probably diamonds or somesuch.

I don’t know. In the first panel, that statue looks pretty friendly. Almost as if it’s waving and smiling at them.

What makes you think the eyes are from Poland?

Anyone else see a resemblance?

He looks happy enough to have just come down off the mountain with the Ten Suggestions.
