Yes, it is pathetic that’s exactly what they’d like to do. It’s important to know that these Gouging Old “Picks” are truly NOT the Republican Party of yesteryear. Even one Mark Hatfield could change considerably the party, merely by having the courage to do as he did, and call them out from within.

They don’t want abortion restrictions, they want abortion made illegal. It’s birth control they want to restrict — and make most forms of it illegal.

Chev the military budget is still bigger than the total of the next six biggest countries. That does seem a bit excessive. The middle class could benefit from competitive bidding for pharmaceuticals. Last night on 60 minutes the author of A Bitter Pill was interviewed and showed how “non-profit” health systems are bleeding their customers. The republicans could even make things better if they revised the tax code to get rid of all the special breaks, inversion, and making it unattractive to keep money off shore. The could probably eliminate oil and peanut farm subsidies while they are at it. As far as the second amendment you must live in a cave. We have more guns per capita than any country and everybody is packing these days.

The next time I go to listen to some music, SizeofaPea, I’m going to think about what you submitted under this cartoon and raise my beer bottle to the ceiling in your name. If you were there, I’d buy you one too. :) Excellent job sir.on another note under this cartoon I will only add I’ve heard NO job proposals except for off shore oil exploration/drilling and the Keystone pipeline. Mr. Landers was suggesting a water project for California and those who have read me know my support for a national water pipe line taking floodwaters from areas prone to flooding, and from desalination plants on the coasts, and moving clean fresh water to areas where incomes depend on the presence of water for farming, fishing, and recreation. Removing the threat of flooded cities and towns will bring down insurance costs and prevent future presidents from declaring areas to be disasters. Keystone will employ a few thousand people for a couple of years, and then fewer than 100 people for years thereafter, except for when the pipes leak or are sabotaged. A water pipeline will stabilize and create jobs in agriculture, husbandry, fishing, and recreation.Respectfully,C.

@size of a peayou are giving credit where credit is not due. The oil prices are not down because of Obama’s economic actions, the prices are down because Obama betrayed the Saudies, and because the Russians offered a sheaper oil to the Chinese. Prepare yourselves for a very rude and violent awakening, the oil prices will rise again and it will cripple this and many other nations.

How about those sickos who want to pass legislation to prosecute women who go through the personal tragedy of a miscarriage? Yet, they condemn (as I do on this one) cultures who arrest the woman if she’s raped But it IS kinda’ like our own male dominated court system that DOES more often than not make rape the woman’s fault, especially with those highly religious “Christians” who blame short skirts or dress as inciting the rapes.

FOX should love you! I am on, and know of a whole lot of othe relderly people that are on social secuity benifits, and I also am on Medicare. We have just received notice that our social security will be increased by some 1.7% this year. And I have received no increases in my Medicare cost either.

So, there are no such cuts of either social security or even Medicare. By the way, I flagged your incorrect and even possibly lying post here.

No president, including president Obama, has ever been perfect by any means, but he is a far better president than the anti president Obama ultra conservative group here would have any of the rest of us believe. And from your posts, you certainly fall into that anti president Obama (even at the cost of the rest of the USA) category!

“No junk science.Like the folks who fudge the global temp numbers to further their agenda.” Show documented, verifiable PROOF before calling people a liar. (You can’t because the “fudging the global temp numbers claim IS the lie)As for the pipeline, the CANADIANS are the ones saying they need the pipeline to the Gulf refineries to send the oil to China, OR, they threaten” they’ll just build it to British Columbia. (This THEY’VE promised) Why should WE care about THEIR oil? Tar sands oil will make gas prices in America RISE, not drop. The pipeline creates 35 permanent jobs, no more. And, except for a few Congressmen who own stock in the parent company. Boehner stands to get MILLIONS off it, if the legislation passes, which is why Sir John of Orange is pushing this disaster so hard.

What a typical Lefty scare-tactic toon for the Democrats low-educated base.
