    Dad always got a laugh after he took out the passenger seat in a Ford Escort Hatchback and would open the rear hatch and take out a 16’ extension ladder.

    A 16’ extension ladder is about 9’ long when collapsed..Now imagine a family of 6 getting out of an original VW Beetle.At a restaurant.In the dark.In the rain.With umbrellas, one each.On a busy Friday evening..We got some curious looks. 8^)
