The whole concept of divided government was based on not being able to do anything most didn’t think was a good idea..Otherwise you risk a government which is too powerful and walks over the rights of the individuals with no consideration of the consequences. We have enough of that as it is.Usually better to do nothing than to do the wrong thing with the full force of the federal government hammering it home.Act in haste, repent in leisure.Or so it seems to me.
