Is this entire arc a screed against poetry? To free your inhibitions is barely even taking license with the literal meaning of the terms, never mind obscure enough to puzzle anyone. By the end of the week, he’ll be quibbling that there’s no need to row your boat down the stream, because the current will get you there anyway..Very lame concept. Not working at all.

On the contrary. I’m looking forward to seeing what idiocy the Weingartens will skewer next.

Just waiting for him to go off on the rhyme scheme in Steve Miller’s “Take The Money And Run.” Brutal!

Actually I’m waiting for him to say there’s no such word as “pompatus.”

I do like Sting’s rhyming of “apprentice” with “Charybdis”.

Inhibitions, by definition, don’t run wild. Its a self contradictory statement, and therefore meaningless.

I’m more concerned with Rod Stewart’s voice. It keeps making me want to clear my throat.

Song lyrics are not poetry. They are product.
