Bobby has a resemblance to that character in American Graffiti — what was his name, Toad? I can just see Bobby hanging around outside a liquor store and waiting for some adult to pay for a bottle of booze.

Time to replace the ball with Bobby and dribble his butt out the door.

In all reality, is Kaz going to go whining to Gil about Bobby and will Gil tell Kaz that Bobby has forgoten more about basket ball than you ll ever know so shutup and learn something.

And now Kaz is suggesting that Bobby start taking dope. That is a fine example of leadership.

Son, what we have here is a failure to communicate.

As the parent of a former ball boy, I can tell you that the efficient fetching of towels is surprisingly integral to a successful sporting event.

And I want to know exactly what Kaz needs the damn towel for. If I were Bobby, I’d ask him.

Well, if you’ve ever read the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, you know how important towels are.

As people who enjoy being irreverent and poking fun at things, I hope we’ll all spare a thought for the 12 people in Paris who paid with their lives for it today.

O.K pals and gals, here’s a history lesson. The father of utilizing the towel as an accessory was WKU Hall of Fame Coach E.A. “Ed” Diddle. Coach Diddle actually played football at Centre College with QB Bo McMillan on the team that upset mighty Harvard 6-0 in 1921. Diddle had a Western Kentucky team manager dye the towels red. He would chew, wave, bury his face in it or toss it in the air to signify a good or poor play. The Hilltoppers have proudly waved the red towel for decades.

It looks to me like Bobby is at least interested in coaching, unlike the missing Gil. Has he disappeared to the same place as the kids?
