I got two watches for Christmas: one that attaches your iPod Nano (which I asked for) and a pocket watch (which I didn’t ask for).

Don’t wear a watch, but my 19-year-old does and has for a few years now.

One person asked, “Do you know what time it is?”The companions reply, “No, I forgot my phone.”

My wristwatch and glasses go on first thing in the morning and are last things to come off at night.

I couldn’t function without my wristwatch.

A wristwatch is handy when the company you work for does not allow cell phones on the floor for security reasons because of the camera functions. Even though you may be a very honest person and don’t take pictures there, it is still company policy.

Me neither.

Wristwatch is an essential at church, so I know how much longer the sermon will last.

Watch is still handy for those of us who have never bothered with getting a cellphone.

Modern technology is only useful if you have something to compare it to. I didn’t let my daughter have Velcro sneakers until she’d mastered shoe laces!

When my grandson was eight, he actually asked for a wristwatch for Christmas. Ten years later, he gets his time from his cell phone, like the rest of his peers.

If the watch isn’t running and you can’t find a place on the back to put in a new battery, you might try grabbing the knurled stem and twisting it around, back and forth, before taking it in for repairs. Sometimes that’s all it takes. I learned this from the watch repair shop.
