And there’s no excuse for THROWING A PASS INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD on 2nd and goal at the 1, when you have two time outs left, great runners, and three shots at the end zone!!!

(The only way I can see any logic in this decision was that Seattle thought it was so stupid that no one would expect it.)

The best explanation I have seen for the pass instead of the run is that whoever scored the winning touchdown would be MVP. Wilson throws winning TD. Wilson is MVP.Mashawn Lynch runs winning TD. Lynch is MVP. Lynch’s contract is up for negotiation this year. Wilsons is not. A combination of economics and who do you want to be the hero.

Ralph and I are two great minds that think alike. I grind my teeth every time I see a missed free throw.

He hit the nail right on the head. Yesterday Ohio St. lost to Michigan by 3 and went 5 for 13 from the line. Pathetic.

guys and gals who are good free throw shooters aren’t that way because they’re extra talented. It’s , just as the cartoon states,‘you can practice in your own driveway’A basketball player who is a poor free throw shooter is just lazy and it’s the coaching’s fault as well

Did Ralph ever see Wilt Chamberlain at the free throw line?

as a coach – i have to agree – it is frustrating to lose by 10 points and less and then realizing you are shooting 50 to 60 percent from the free throw line. especially when it is 1 and 1 and the first one is missed again and again and again – just keep fouling their players and you WIN!!!! AAAAUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH

and they spend a LOT of time supposedly practicing – but they have to be serious in practicing and most don’t take it seriously like you want

After the death of a long-time and much-beloved TV news anchor more than 25 years ago, the news team gathered on the set to reminisce. Sports guy talked about being on the golf course with the anchor and a hack who had about a four-foot putt for quadruple bogey. Anchor was said to be a guy who wouldn’t say a bad word to anyone — at least not to anyone’s face — but as hack left his four-foot putt about two feet short, anchor leaned over to sports guy and said sotto voce, “That’s funny, most guys would have gone for that.” Sports guy collapsed on the green laughing hysterically. Said he knew hack thought he was laughing at him; but he was laughing at anchor’s crack on the hack’s poor putting.
