One would have to understand the culture that the Sony Corp is built on before criticizing their decision. Now if it was an American company the movie would had been Imaxed.
I don’t fault Sony. What would you do if you were running Sony and under total assault by a foreign nation? Sony doesn’t have the ability to resist something like that. North Korea has launched an attack against the U.S. by attacking a company and its employees inside the U.S. The terrible precedent is that the U.S. is not responding to an attack against citizens and a business located on the sovereign soil of the U.S. The U.S. should respond forcefully to defend us against foreign attack. Where is the response?
There better be a serious response by O or else this is just the tip of the iceberg.Russia is feeling vulnerable and weak right now.Can you imagine what their hackers could do?
Our President believes America is over proud and its position in the world should be diminished. That message of weakness invites attack. Hate doesn’t enter into the discussion; stone cold foolishness does.
It was tort and the theater owners afraid of tort who surrendered, as the guy from Sony said, why release it if they won’t show it. A Japanese company got hacked, not our government, despite the hundreds of attempts, DAILY, against the Pentagon, it’s a constant quick-step to stay ahead of hackers.
Hmm, it WAS Al Gore who wrote the legislation to open the internet up to the public, instead of just the military, so it’s obviously all Al’s fault!
Portraying weakness invites attack, period. Past history means nothing. The issue is Obama is driven by ideology and doesn’t think much of his country. That attitude puts us all at risk, like disputing the right of way with a Semi with a motorcycle. You can be right but more likely, dead right.
