Well, to be fair, Mozart’s father was himself an established and recognized composer. It’s hard to say that he didn’t substantially “help” with Wolfie’s early compositions.
Aw, Schroeder’s first Beethoven. For those who asked: This is Variation 1 from his 6 Variations on ‘Nel cor piu sento’ from the opera La Molinara by Paisiello.
In the original comic (https://www.gocomics.com/peanuts/1951/09/26) Schulz wrote Brahm’s instead of Brahms’. Someone corrected it here, but left weird extra space between M and S. IMO the author’s text should have been left as it was, errors and all.
Anyway, CB makes a good point: no matter how talented, at this age Schroeder cannot have the stamina required for a 50 minute concerto.

Schroeder ain’t Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for crying out loud,Patty, who was able to play at three and compose a symphony at four.

Schroder is very talented. It is amazing that he can be comfortable hunch over the piano.
I enjoy the Peanuts comics. I have been reading them for a long time.

It still astounds me that Sparky never learned how to read music, yet he copied it for Schroeder so precisely.Anyone know what he’s playing today?

Maybe someone who can read music and play could play and record what Schroeder is playing, and upload them somewhere so we could listen.

“New York Philip Harmonic”. Sounds like something theKeane Kids would say… and be ridiculed for it by today’s social media.

Charlie Brown is just being polite. Kids his age didn’t call adults Phil instead of Philip unless they were a favourite uncle.
