In a few years, Lucy will eventually beat Charlie Brown at checkers ten thousand games in a row. I don’t remember her ever playing Shermy or Patty, though.
I wonder why these two weren’t around in later strips.
Other characters introduced later became more popular and were used more.
I think luck can be a game of skill…
Then it was all Snoopy for a while, then Peppermint Patty. Then Snoopy, Woodstock, and Snoopy’s brothers. Tough going for some of us.
