Is Santa supposed to be Obama? He didn’t work out the deal, Congress did. He had to sign it, knowing it could only get worse next month when the “new improved” Congress is sworn in.Yup folks, great job in the last election. Congress is working for you, the little guy. You get what you wished for.
Another example of how it is OK to screw with the middle class. Banks play with other people’s money. Then have little investment of their own. One major cause of the last recession was bank making loans they never expected to be paid off and then bundling them and selling them to Freddie Mac and Fannie May and wall street who turned around and sold them to pension funds, IRAs and foreign investors. Everyone from the home inspector to the Wall Street executives made a bundle, the middle class paid for it. As long as the voters keep sending “their guy” back to government, it won’t change.
When the voters prefer being ripped off by corporations, banks and “investment” firms rather than being protected by law and regulations, and think torture is just hunky dory, how discriminating do candidates, from any side, need to be any more?
“Obama must be Santa because he’s favored Wall Street 100%.”By that logic just about all of the congressional Republicans are Santas as well. That would explain why there are so many of them soliciting funds outside of stores this time of year.

Not really. We get what the people with the money paid for. Best government money can buy.

That is the unfortunate reality of it all. The cartoon is spot on.
