We got a lot more guys in Afghanistan shipped off by giving their neighbor with a grudge “reward money” for turning ’em in, for doing nothing, than ever any viable prisoners to interrogate.
In Afghan culture that was plain stupid, and we should have known it well, but look who was running the show.
Drones are a quicker way to go (as in die) than torture. I don’t like drones acting on lousy intelligence, but properly done, with target confirmation from the ground for example, drones can make it safer for our folks, like those observers that don’t have to reveal their own location.
Wow. There ain’t enough aluminum foil in the world for your head, exoticdoc2, nor enough gasoline to burn all the crosses you dream of. Seriously, get some help, dude.

Obama does not get a pass on drone strikes. Both are reprehensible and counter-productive in the long run.
