^Stupid is more like it. From the first promo clip, anyone buying his fraud knows snakes only as giving Eve an apple. If they want something plausible, have him eaten by a great white next time. That would satisfy authenticity, and the blood thirsty. (Who themselves are as scared of sharks as they are of snakes, but they’ll die in their beds, hit by a crashing airplane, about as likely.)
