Once again liberal media members jump on false info to fit their ultra-left agenda.

Kinda like the whole “Hands up don’t shoot” BS that’s been proven false.

Maybe they need a makeover for their magazine like Rolling Stoned. That would more in line with their interest groups and rock stars.

Yes, the difference is that Rolling Stone acknowledged that they were wrong. Still waiting for apologies from Fox on Benghazi, the IRS, the president’s citizenship….

Was anybody fondly reminded of the Duke incident 8 years ago. I’m sure, in the reporter’s mind, it sounds noble to jump to the defense of this hapless victim who was savagely abused on campus. Unfortunately, the accused turned out to be innocent but not before he had to spend money on legal fees.

At a minimum, Rolling stone should pay for the real victim’s (The falsely accused) legal fees and issue an apology. The woman should be kicked out of school on ethics charges and the University should acknowledge their mistakes as well.

Women who are sexually assaulted should be afforded every protection under the law. But it’s really hard for them to get that justice when a small subset of women use those rights to lash out at an innocent individual for god knows what reason.

It’s the news entertainment industry at work. They didn’t bother to verify the story with the fraternity. Really sloppy journalist but these days anything goes.

Let me guess…this toon was drawn last Thursday for publication today? (see yesterday’s comments).

@Marty – There is plenty of evidence that she has lied. Her story started to unravel as they were unable to verify many of her claims. That’s the only reason the Rolling stone printed a retraction.

Anybody who has a son in college should be chilled to the bone by the events that took place on UVA. The Fraternity would have been railroaded had it not been for several journalists digging deeper.

I stand by what I said – Girls who have suffered sexual assault should be afforded the full remedy under the law – BUT NOT UNTIL AFTER IT HAS BEEN PROVEN, BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT THAT THE ACCUSED COMMITTED A CRIME. Otherwise we are back to the Duke incident.

I think we have plenty of evidence of young “ladies” making up stories after buyers remorse to give their consorts the benefit of the doubt before we pillory them in the local and national press.
