Could go either way. My favorite is dinner out with another couple.

No – family gatherings only. But then, I don’t like parties in spring, summer, or fall either.

That holiday invitation just knocked his hat clear off!
Depends on the group at said party. If its friends I have fun. Acquaintances bring out that not quite comfortable feeling and family gatherings require aspirin. At least my side of the family does.
