Right, because race was never a problem in the US before Obama, there were no gender inequalities and there was no violence against women, and certainly never in American history had there been any classes at all, so how could there have been class conflicts. All of this started with Obama.

At least it was the lady Liberty instead of the blind lady of Justice.

It’s hard for one man to bring us together when so many dedicate themselves to fighting his every move.

Notice that I didn’t reply to you. I was replying to the cartoon, which shows Obama with a blow torch. The clear implication is that Obama dismantled the Statue of Liberty. Ramirez seems to think that everything was fine before Obama and that Obama is responsible for all our problems. I just don’t think that a balanced view of American history bears that out. Obama has done some good things, he has also made some mistakes, but the divisions in the country were there long before he came on the scene.

it was nice to see lonecat and logicalone act like adults who can discuss without resorting to name calling and yelling. But I support Logicalone, President Obama set the tone of his presidency early wih the ACA by not including ANY Republicans. I have yet to see him compromise on any legislation with the Republicans. Speed of the Leader, speed of the Group.

The issues I care about: Jobs, jobs, jobs. Obama changes the subject to improving- Race, Gender, Wealth, Sex, etc. issues. Those are an Important priority. But, Jobs are an Urgent priority.

Let’s play a game, shall we? If War Shrub hadn’t:

1)Invaded Iraq we would not have to deal with ISIS taking over the country as a result of his status of forces agreement that he signed with the country.

2)Let wall street run wild we would not have had the stock market crash, people would have still owned their homes, Enron would still be whole, we would not have had bank bailouts, and people’s 401Ks would still have been intact.

3)Ignored the warnings of an imminent attack from the CIA, the British government, the Russian government, and the FBI 9/11 would have been averted.

4)Put cronies within his cabinets we would not have had the BP oil spill, the coal mining accident, and many other incidents where the EPA and other departments were too inept to enforce and protect workers and the enviorment. I would talk about the obstruction of the cons with regard to blocking Obama’s appointments to these department but this is all about the shrub.

5)Let Dick Cheney slide for shooting someone in the face with a gun he would be in prison now instead of being on FOX news telling people to hate the president since he leads to the right of Clinton.

There’s also the outing of Valerie Plame, the hiring of Black Water Security, the privization of parts of the gubbermint, Homeland Security, and increasing gubbermint by 35% but hey its all Obama’s fault.

Nope, he hasn’t amplified them as much as he has brought them to the forefront. The republicans are turning the U.S. into a country of poor struggling to survive and rich who never seem to have enough no matter how much they have. These super rich choose your candidates, fund your candidates and they win no matter who gets elected, They have stacked the deck.

Gosh, speaking from the left, I think the left in the US is very bad at appealing to the masses, and thus the dominance of conservative policy.
