They don’t pay delivery fees even when they should. My 73 yr old dad didn’t want to pay the $75.00 delivery fee for a pre-assembled 6’ sliding glass door. He had the guys at the box store put it on his trailer, but it was up to him and me and 1 other female all of whom have back problems to get it off the trailer and around back to install it. I didn’t mind installing it, but they laid it down to transport. Wrong/bad move, at least it didn’t shatter. I had to stand it up and get it off the trailer before I could disassemble it. Thanks dad.
My dad ws a Scottish Plugger and highly opposed to paying anybody to do anything. I used to tell him “If we all did that, everybody would starve to death.” After Dad passed, Mom gladly paid people to deliver and/or install things.

Except for mulch. It can really mess up the back of your hatchback.
