Conditions for African-Americans have diminished greatly under Obama…so, I can only guess that they’d want to vote Obama out for hurting them more.

Get even for what Morin? So Blacks can now vote to change Grand Jury’s decisions?Oh and very patronizing of you to assume that all Blacks think Mike Brown was murdered. The days of Blacks blindly following Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Liberal Whites like you are over. They can come to their own conclusions.May Blacks think Officer Wilson did what he had to do, are angry at the rioters and they agree that 0 is a horrible prez.

Keep stirring, Jim. Pretend everything is racial. Hmmm…I think we have found part of the problem.

Need I remind Morin (in Miami) that here in Florida the gerrymandering has allowed for only the right aka white (conservative) vote to count.

Yeah! Get even! Vote for more of the same! (This message approved by Tom Steyer, George Soros, Jay Nixon, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, and Barack Obama.)

In January of 2009, the Dow Jones index was 7,949. It’s now17,652. That same month unemployment was 7.8%, now it’s 5.8%. GDP Growth was negative 5.4%, now it’s positive 3.5%, the deficit was 9.8% and is now 2.8%. Consumer confidence was rated at 37.7%. It’s now 94.5%. So, who exactly decided that Obama was doing a bad job and what facts do they use to support that decision, because all of the actual facts say things have been steadily improving.

Two names to prove its policy that’s voted for, NOT color: Tim Scott and Mia Love!

@Darsan54“And of course, Republicans have done absolutely nothing for the last six years?”.Obama said it was time for Republicans to sit in the back of the bus. (Reverse racism, anyone?). Besides that. Reid has been sitting on hundreds of bills on his desk for the last six years!

I have a problem with labels; Louis Hamilton, Formula One World Champion, is actually mulatto (like Obama), and a British citizen and NOT African American; Nelson Mandella was President of South Africa, not African American; my friend Richard from Kenya became a physician, not African American; my maternal grandfather wasn’t Native American, he was Cherokee.

I read recenlty that the term “Negro” cannot be used in documents. Do they plan to eradicate “Caucsion” and “Mongolian” as well? How do they plan to address Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese nationalities, and typeologies? How do we divide, visually, Poles from Germans, English, Irish, or French?

What IS wrong with black or white, which most folks actually address themselves as? What’s wrong with just being “human”?

    One label, all that’s needed.

Webster’s, with emphasis: “Bigot; one who holds BLINDLY AND INTOLERANTLY to a particular creed, opinion, etc.”

There’s nothing at all wrong with disagreements, or diffrent opinions if based on facts, it is that blind and intolerant that is significant about “opinion”.

That assumes that they’ll be allowed anywhere near a ballot box. (Not if the Rethuglicans have their way…)

Darsan54 said, about 14 hours ago@ConserveGov“Talking to “some of my best friends” again?”—————————————————————Actually never said I have black “best friends” but I do read a lot and many Blacks are tired of people like you and Morin telling them how to think and vote.

ahab; a note btw on “bigotry”. My maternal grandfather was Cherokee, my mom HATED the Yakama she grew up near, never had a good thing to say, and hated blacks, a real bigot, really, up to the day she died at 101! My brother was the same, and died at 72.

I learned in high school, when they formed our new school with half the population from a white school, the other half from a Mexican and Black school population. We had our occasional gang fights, usually INTRA-tribal in nature, but overall, most of us learned to get along pretty well.

Which I guess is to say, despite your “upbringing” folks CAN change for the better, and learn to “get along” to cite Rodney King’s “day late, dollar short” request.

Uh, who’s published the literacy rates, functional or not, in Ferguson? Well, as to FUNCTIONAL literacy, we’ve seen a lot of examples from right-wingers and dittoheads here over time of their, capabilities, with some kind of language, but rarely English (or even “American” English).
