About ten pounds of starch made into a thick, syrupy form that will “paint” on with a brush, paint some leaves, bundle them, paint the outside, roll it though the ground leaf pile— repeat, create three staged balls, assemble with the last of the starch, then add limbs for arms, something large and bright for eyes.

Lovely colours. A reclining leaf man works well. Leaf men never have to be standing. They make much more of a statement when in a prone position.

Nah, the leaves just have to be really, really wet.
