Gary Brookins. Thank you for your comments. I’m an artist. Have published a bit. Not much. Enough to know how much work you do, how labor intensive it is. Plus there’s the need to be consistent. Putting your work out there has an element of emotion to it, as well. I’ve always loved your work. Also, thank you for taking the time to comment! Just know your work is appreciated! From one who retreated to landscape painting, I couldn’t keep up with the ’toons or book illustrarations.

Tried coffee when I was a teen. Didn’t care for it. People said to put cream and sugar in it to doctor it up. I decided anything that needed that much help in order to be drinkable probably wasn’t worth it anyway.. That was over 50 years ago. Still don’t drink coffee.

Gotta put in my vote for top favorite: Pluggers Tend To Have 3-digit Phone Numbers.First strip I remember seeing, and, being a part-time/paid-call FF/EMT at the time, it is still hanging over my workbench.

Same to you Gary, you’re doing a great job. But “vanilla prune”? How’d you come up with that one?

Vanilla Prune sounds lsuspiciously like ike something AARP might endorse No offense. As for me, when I graduated from high school. I got a job in an office full of older women. When I reached to put sugar and cream in my coffee, they told me, "Oh,no you don’t. If you are going to drink coffee, drink it black and you will save yourself tons of calories and never have a weight problem. Those ladies were right, and I have taken my coffee black ever since. M y mentors had a lot of other good advice, too. There is much to learn from the older generation, if one will but listen.
