I actually like fried baloney sandwiches. Of course here in Southwestern PA they are “jumbo” sandwiches.

I haven’t had one of those since I was a kid but it sure sounds good now. Of course if my cardiologist found out I had one HE would have a heart attack.

I like fried bologna and I’m with Grandma, kids’ lives are much more a gift than ours. As long as she remembers we need to live long enough to give them a good head start.

I really really like this strip and roflmao when you pull the dirt poor card like when they went on the road trip and the truck broke down in middle of winter last year. You never finised the story line and left me hangin but also broke my heart over their situation and somehow can relate.

Tony, You should exploit the poor thing even more than you did today, fried bolonia sandwich-lol. The 99% angle Is popular right now.

See the strip “Monty”, Master Seqgwick is a 1%er and a riot to read how removed from normalcy he is.

imho this would be something I think would be a very good direction for the strip.

I remember fried bologna sandwiches. We ate a lot of those when I was a kid. It was one of the staples of our diet then. I remember cutting slits on the edges of the slices of bologna so it would stay flat… otherwise it would kind of balloon up in the center. It’s been a long time since I had any… I don’t buy bologna these days..I have fond memories of eating bread and gravy for dinner too. My mom made the gravy with real whole wheat flour that we ground ourselves in a wheat grinder. Looking back I realize that we ate that because we didn’t have anything else in the pantry, but it always seemed a special treat to me.
