I am secure in the knowledge that I have had a wonderful life, I have loved and been loved. Thats all anyone can ask for.

If they had done this, they would still run their own country.

I live in a 55+ community and the nearby school has designated our club house as a safe place for the kids to go to if there is a school problem. They did a drill the other day. It is so sad that even kids can’t feel secure in school.

Thanksgiving is not about Christopher Columbus, the Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria.

The only secure thing in my life right now is the knowledge that the tumor and lymph node they removed from my neck Wednesday isn’t cancer. Other than that Tony, nothing is safe or secure. I fear for my son and his future. The world seems to be steadily slipping downhill and the patients are running the asylum. Living where I do, (St. Louis) it feels like we are waiting for a bomb to drop and the only protection available are band aids.Ok, I really need that ionic breeze now. Oh Paublo……time to come home.

I felt a lot more secure before the US passed the “Patriot Act”, basically usurping all our rights as US citizens…
