Sigh, sorry but this story is just too silly! Forget the play and arrest the criminal. A whopping 31 comments yesterday shows that folks are on the edge of thier seats! LOL! At least this bomb in Tracyville will help me get some much needed sle,,, ZZZZZZZZ,,,,,,

I guess one of these days, I’m going to have to see “Arsenic & Old Lace”…….seems like a pretty hokey play.

I second Vitamin Teddy’s reaction: “Sam?” Gruesome plainly knows what is going down, so he’s not for long if at all going to play along just for the sake of the audience. My question is, how violent will Gruesome become?

If there’s a trap door on that stage Gruesome, you’d better find it now!

Yes, they “have a situation” but the stage director was told that Gruesome would be arrested during the intermission, so that explains why he was all nervous when Gruesome came walking back toward the stage, straightening his tie. He’d already been told that “Mr. Cushing” was wanted by the police.

Sam is really changing the script of the play here, but I think he’s trying to make an arrest without causing mass panic in the theatre audience.

Sam must be ad-libbing; Teddy Roosevelt would not have known J. Edgar Hoover.

Morning, Tracyville!Does anybody on this forum know what the cop’s line really is when he walks in to make the arrest? I just don’t remember.

amazing how sam had the opportunity to A) Escape the crate B) locate tracy WITHOUT looking for Gruesome first C) be “prepped” for an appearance onstage in (what i assume is) a character NOT originally in the play

I rented the film Arsenic and Old Lace so I could understand this story. It helps to be familiar with that farce, which is quite funny. I’m enjoying this story.

Sam, you’re out of costume. If you are playing someone who thinks he’s J. Edgar Hoover, you should be wearing a dress.

Y’all can poo-poo the plot all you want. I’m enjoying it and the humor is well-needed.

Golly Gee! The suspense over topping yesterday’s comments total is nerve wracking!

Interesting turn of events! Sam has an eye on Gruesome, Gruesome has shifty-eyes on Sam and the others, probably thinking “That copper got out so soon?”

Plus, the other pertinent question: Sam’s gun. Does Gruesome still has it on his person?

Anything can happen..and usually does…don’t try to make sense out of the funny pages..

I love how Tracy doesn’t identify himself as a policeman, he’s Dick Tracy and that’s good enough!
