I miss those days. I remember they would have a preview show the week before to tell you all the new shows. Now any cartoon is basically a commercial to buy a toy.

I don’t know about the cartoons; but what I miss the most is, Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans, and Grandfather Clock! Oh, and don’t forget Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit…
I’m afraid that I’m old enough that the Saturday mornings of my childhood featured old Laurel and Hardy shorts. Although there was “Winky-Dink and You”, with Jack Barry and the great Mae Questel.
