The Koch Brothers bought another one. Yes there were a few of the rich on the Democrat side but the vast majority of the donors were small $ givers. Many of them were also ones who were cut out of voting because of completely false laws claiming voter fraud (which never existed in any realistic number) Now it will be the Democrat’s turn to play bigot and shoot down everything the Republicans propose – just as the Republicans have been doing for the past 4 years.

Only the Dems won’t do it. They’ll try and pass legislation. Oh, they’ll be accused, because they won’t go along with the GOP’s overreach.

I hope that the Republican party uses this opportunity to either work with the President to reform dysfunctional laws (assuming, of course, that the President is willing to work with Congress), or, failing that, make a strong case for their policies to the American people.

It was easy to work with Newt once his own party booted him out.

And as for reading what’s on your desk, give us your best guess as to how many people read the PATRIOT act before voting for it. There isn’t much incentive to read any bill with hundreds of legalese pages, regardless of importance. And that’s what the authors of these bills count on.

In the tv news today, Reid in the Senate and Pelosi in the House won’t admit defeat but will do as much mischief as possible to sabotage GOP efforts to get 400 HR bills dusted off to be debated and voted in the Senate (Will Reid now seek erasing the rules changes he used against Republican senators now that he is in the minority?).-When a Dem loses position, they try to bully the election winners, using the Media as their backup. Dems will never be held accountable for the damages they willfully accomplished while in control. And, sadly, the Old Bulls of the congressional GOP had already taken impeachment off the table, so I doubt McConnell or Boehner will try to “clean house” and give Americans the truth of the damage done by Dems in Power. The 2014 RNC candidates didn’t even run on a party promise platform, except for at least one “dark horse” super candidate, Ed Gillespie in Virginia’s Gov race.-The Voters gave the GOP a Mandate to stop Obama’s evil programs and plans. Check the polls on majority opinion of policies and directions….over the cliff, led by Obama. The Economy, the Joblessness, the worst foreign policy record in history of the USA. Thank you, Voters.

The Republicans will either put up or hand over the keys in 2016.

^I don’t see current "R"s having any intent at cooperation for the preservation of the Republic, or care for the people, and nation. It will be a bad two years, but hopefully folks might wake up, although the idiots in Kansas didn’t recognize their own bankruptcy and kept Brownback.

^Unfortunately for America, it may indeed be true again, hang on 2008, and convert your savings to something you won’t lose this time? We can also invade a couple more countries with the chickenhawks and elephants standing behind the troops, like WAY BEHIND!
