I used to buy a quart and half gallon of eggnog at a time. The quart for the drive home and the half gallon for after I got home. Now in old age I avoid it like the plague knowing I have NO self control, one sip and hello 19200 calories in 15 minutes.
No eggnog for me. I remember the first time I consumed it, my mom did not, I lost it all several times. My sister and dad did too. They can eat eggs. Never again.

I love egg nog…particularly warmed. Gives it an entirely different flavor. Yummy! Oh, and no: not “warmed” by alcohol.

It is an acquired taste and yes, it is very high in calories and half the calories are from fat!.No wonder it is so yummy…
