The only way voter fraud is real is if you are deaf, dumb, and blind. There is virtually no data to back up that premise. Clearly it is about disenfranchising the oppositions voters. If the conservatives could figure out how to do it there would be a law against democrats casting a vote.

Harleyquin…I think it’s hilarious that you keep calling Democrats stupid, while you misspell words, indulge in puerile name calling and use horrible grammar! Most of my friends are Democrats, and at least half of them have PhDs.

Where on Earth is all this great concern over voter fraud ? I haven’t seen any stories of people trying to cast more than 1 ballot. Your lucky if you can get someone off their butt to vote at all. Even if someone tried casting more than 1 ballot it wouldn’t sway an election. I would think politicians would like the people to get out & vote. Again if your 18 or older you should make sure your voice is heard at the ballot box not on talk radio.

Am I the only one who noticed the reference to the rhyme of: eeny, meany, miney, moe… ? How racist!

The Canadian vote count system is great. Votes are held in a large room (school gym is typical) with paper ballots. The ballot-marking booths are around the edge of the room, ballot box in the center [centre], and registration at the entrance. After the polls close, bleachers are pulled out and citizens come in with note pads. In the presence of representatives of each party, the box is unlocked and ballots dumped on the table. The election judge takes each ballot, shows it to the party representatives and announces it to the audience, who then mark it on their note pads. The total results are ready in less than two hours, even for multiple place elections like municipal councils. Major elections are for just one office, like Member of Parliament or Provincial Legislature and are counted within an hour. The results of each box are totaled and the final results broadcast to the public.

The real “voter fraud” is the campaigning from the radical right candidates that they ever intend to act in the best interest of America, or it’s people who are not part of that “corporate personhood” group. We now have six years of proven obstructionism that shows that this population of elephants needs to be sent to the elephant graveyard.

“Conservative” should NOT be a negative term, any more than “liberal” should be, as with cooperation between folks to promote “conservative” economic considerations, with “liberal” social considerations for the populace, rational governance would be possible. The RADICAL right, and to a much lesser extent the RADICAL left are destructive to all progress, on any issue. That is NOT the way a true Republic should be working. (OH right, it ISN’T working today!)

Interesting. I work with a large array of people: African-American, Caucasian, Mexican, Puerto Rican…the only place I ever hear about “voter suppression” is in the media. And where I work people are not afraid to discuss anything. The polls say 60-70% of Americans are in favor of simple voter ID.And check out the picture of Nelson Mandela wearing a shirt that says, “Get an ID. Register. Vote.” Phony issue.

Wonder if ol’ Lucky realized how much his token voter fraud person looks like obummer. The irony is delicious because if you keep obummer from enacting all his crappy legislation or executive orders (to him, voter fraud), then the country is actually WAY better off!
