I’m sure that Otis will be rewarded.

Christmas may come early for Otis…So may a trip to the funeral home! Or, at least, the window seat (an "Arsenic & Old Lace reference)!

Otis should be more careful and remember the lesson of Machine Gun Jack McGurn who demanded to be paid off about The Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre. He got paid off all right – gunned down in a bowling alley.

‘If Otis doesn’t slack off he is liable to become a “Janitor in a drum”.’Now, THAT’S clever!

Otis knows that there’s robbery money around somewhere. He’s not stupid. As for Mel, it sounds to me like he might be the owner/manager of the Patterson Playhouse.

So the janitor is hoping to clean up…but I suspect it will be a trip to the Panama Canal instead. (Another Arsenic and Old Lace reference)

Hmmm, how does Otis know it was “A big haul” if he’s only speculating? It would be wiser and safer for him to drop a dime and report Gruesome to the authorities. He’d be able to collect any reward money. Guess there’s a help wanted sign going up soon!

Wily old Otis is too “smart” for his own good. He hasn’t thought about the possible consequences of cheesing off the Big Bad, such as Christopher Cushing….He seems set for an early offstage exit of the permanent variety….

Looks like Mel spent the cash from the robbery that was stashed at the playhouse and Otis knows too much. Mel hopes to recoup the cash in ticket sales to pay back Mr,{"Dont call me Gruesome"} Cushing Maybe?lol.

I like the Gouldian touch of having the character’s full name said out loud. We would just call him “Mel.” or “Mr. Dee.” I remember the old days!

Back in the old days, serving was one’s proud sense of duty. And then, the politicians took over….. you know the rest.

Remember, lest we forget…just thinkin about my Dad. He was in Normandy in 1944…and to all who gave Service.

Let me add my own ’thank you" to all Veterans, those who had to fight, and those who stood ready.I am proud of my family members who served from Normandy to the Tonkin Gulf.

I don’t recall Diet saying that he is junking the space coupe, he sent it off into space to be lost.

It was clearly his intention to dispose of it once and for all. You can’t just put a thing like that on a trash heap and hope that no criminals will ever get ahold of it.

Through the history of Tracy, being a blackmailer has never been a profitable enterprise. It’s a standard plotline that blackmailers usually wind up killed by whoever they are blackmailing. The same thing happens to double crossers and people who know too much. I don’t expect Otis to live long once Gruesome finds out. He wants his money and doubt he would share it with a would-be blackmailer.
