Not funny…sarcastic, yes, but not funny…

Why else would you write what you wrote unless you meant it? Has that ever been in dispute? And going by what you wrote, you think that Lalo is writing in literal terms, which makes me question your ability to really understand fiction, metaphor, and other forms of human linguistic creativity. On the other hand, you don’t seem to have a problem with a giant cockroach typing on a computer. So maybe it’s something else.

You object to what you see as inflammatory rhetoric. Then why engage in it yourself? Is it that turnabout’s fair play? Or you think you don’t have as much of a podium and thus you’re not as beholden to a set of standards? Or is it something else?

Lalo is the one with a comic strip, not only online but in the newspapers as well, sooooo…He is as entitled to his opinion as you are to yours. Don’t like it? don’t read it or better yet make your own and see if you can get published.Creativity is a well, sometimes the bucket only comes up half full.I thought it was funny, and sarcastic.

I live in Murrieta, unfortunately, and this guy really is a jerk. He resigned as Mayor after the DUI incident (glad he didn’t kill any of the girls!) and then went ahead and won a seat on the city council. If our mortgage wasn’t so darn low, we’d be outta here!

Apparently someone thinks the solution to posts they don’t care for is to delete them.

And since your comment is now down here (and no, it shouldn’t have been deleted, and neither should this one), I’ll just point out that many of the posts above it are in response to this one. Gives a bit of a time warp feel to it all.

I, and others, have a duty to write opposition comments.

So you consider yourself the loyal opposition? Where exactly does this sense of duty come from?

Why use language such as “worshiper”? Besides being inaccurate, it could be consider inflammatory, and as you’ve stated many times, you object to inflammatory statements.

I don’t expect facts to turn you away from your cherished world view. But I won’t just let them stand unchallenged.Best comment ever on any gocomics thread. Bravo!
