    And then there was the unicorn who always poked others with his horn, a real bad apple and the unicorn who was real good looking, she had great melons, and the unicorn every one was happy to be around, she had real a peal, and the one who thought he was a goblin walked on two legs yelling Blart and eating socks, he was out of his gourd, and the one who wore a hat on his but and pants on his head, he was just nuts. Marigold’s family tree was part of an orchard.

    Marigold’s trip down Childhood (foalhood??) Memory Lane reminds me of the odd things I thought as a child, hearing and experiencing things I didn’t understand and trying to put them in a frame I could understand.
