Just like Vegas, but the machine is rigged, he wins, we lose.

I don’t know why we just don’t auction off all the various elected offices. At least it would help the deficits,

It continues to amaze me that the so-called ‘conservatives’ are perfectly happy to turn the country over to corporations, while mouthing myths about ‘free markets’ and ‘personal responsibility’. -If these Republicans/Fox “news” viewers had their way, smoking would still be allowed/encouraged everywhere (except in Congress), and would be advertised as being perfectly healthy.

National parks would be sold off to Disney, Marriott, or whoever gave the biggest bribes campaign contributions.

No mergers/acquisitions would ever be denied, so eventually there would be only two or three companies in every industry, often only one company.

They are perfectly comfortable with forests being clear cut, rivers catching fire, and eminent domain being used for private ‘enterprise’.

Evidently, they actually believe that corporations are people, and benign ones at that.

There ain’t no free lunch in America, and "corporations"** will see to it that their funding will make sure your speech ain’t at all free either.

** A large percentage of “corporations” ARE INDIVIDUALS, usually wealthy ones.

I’ve always been a fiscal conservative, meaning paying a fair price for labor or product, but not spending 4-5 times the value of a product or service to contractors or corporate thieves who control the “market place” called government. A social liberal has not problem at all with fiscal conservatism, it is fiscal fraud and idiocy that infuriates us.
