My first sheltie loved to bark at the mailman’s truck. But, when the mailman got out, they were the best of friends.
Muff, muff, muff!
I had a beagle that would only bark at the UPS guys. No one else. Just the UPS guy for some reason.
How about this rip on Shakespeare:
To speak, or not to speak. That is the question. Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to leave a message after the beep; or to take up arms ’gainst a sea of voice-mails and by opposing, end them. To speak; to dial no more.
They pretty much all say that to me. And I respond, appropriately, with “Good dog.”
You could go with the partial bark………….“BAK”. Unless Dougie has a copyright on it!
